Helping During Severe Kenya Drought

Our students’ home villages are experiencing a severe drought. Droughts are not unusual in the rift valley, but this one is exceptional. Now is normally the rainy season but instead the land is parched. Jon Keshe says “Both the drought and covid-19 hitting so bad … driving many people into poverty that has never been experienced in history”. So Jon earnestly requested food aid for the girls' families and their communities. Thanks to KCEAs supporters, the Board was able to act quickly to send funds and Jon was able to mobilize a KCEA-Kenya team to make it happen. Below are a few pictures. Jon describes an intense ‘celebration, and gratefulness’ for the much-needed food.
